20 years of Sensovation

20,000 kilometers of joint activity! 2020, Sensovation AG is 20 years old - and since both the anniversary celebration and the summer party had to be canceled due to the corona pandemic, we are celebrating in a slightly different way:

20,000 kilometers of joint activity! Sensovation AG is 20 years old - and since both the anniversary celebration and the summer party had to be canceled due to the corona pandemic, we are celebrating in a slightly different way: as a starting signal for Corporate Health Management the CHM team organized a challenge to mark our anniversary. This “actively-together-around-half-the-world- challenge” means that the employees are active for 20,000 kilometers together. 20,000 kilometers are half the distance round the equator - or, in other words, 20 times from the Sensovation site to our parent company in Bergisch Gladbach and back again.

Of course, the goal here is not to cycle twenty times to MiltenyiBiotec AG, nor to run along the equator. The aim is to cover the 20,000 kilometers together through various activities such as cycling, jogging, walking or swimming.

So everyone records their cycled, walked, jogged and hiked kilometers in the near future - be it with a bicycle speedometer, a sports watch or an app on their mobile phone. The track does not matter: the way to the office, a run to unwind after work in the home office or a Sunday excursion with the family.
The campaign started on July 20th and soon we can celebrate our third stage goal:15,000 kilometers. The surprise reward for the employees here is still a secret.

As the first stage goal - 5,000 kilometers - was reached in mid-August, the CHM-Team decided to reward the employees with a little cooling off: fresh organic ice cream from the Peppe-Gelato truck!

The second stage goal was for all participants in the challenge: a brightly colored thermo-bottle as the motivational reward. When we reach our goal of 20,000 kilometers, we would like to hand over a donation of €2,000 to the Tannheim Clinic providing aftercare for children suffering from cancer. With the challenge, we not only want to do something for our own health, but also make a contribution to our corporate mission "Make Cancer History".
