FLAIR -Sensovation’s Fluorescence Array Imaging Reader is an imaging reader especially designed for multi-format multiplexing. FLAIR provides fully automated analysis of fluorescent microarrays in 96-well SBS-microplates, slides or other sample formats not exceeding the dimensions of a microplate. In the case of a 96-well format, for example, it captures high resolution images of fluorescent microarrays on the bottom of each well.

The standard configuration includes 2 color fluorescence, either with green and red excitationor with blue and red excitation.

A typical application is the readout of multiplexed fluorescent microarrays in microplate wells or readout of objects in general Biochip applications.

The FLAIR imaging Reader provides functionality which is comparable to a conventional microarray scanner - at a fraction of the cost, with faster analysis cycle and a tremendously smaller footprint. This instrument is affordable even to small labs and enables to have a “personalized reader” in every lab or even in the doctor's office.

Sensovation provides FLAIR as a customized OEM product. A turnkey, private label product styled to suit your corporate identity, and tuned to your application.

Measurement technology used in FLAIR is also available as separate optical module. This fluorescence module is designed to be integrated as a core detection component into customer’s instrumentation. Integrating the module will enable our customers to realize a faster development cycle and a shorter time to market of their fluorescence detection instrumentation.
