Sensovation’s coolSamBa cameras with cooled scientific grade- Si-CCD sensors are used for demanding low-light applications. All coolSamBa cameras incorporate latest SensHermetic sensor cooling technology (hermetically sealed and maintenance-free) for low dark current and long exposure time, allowing the detection of even the faintest light signals from the sample.

High quantum efficiencies and low readout noise contribute to the cameras’ outstanding sensitivity. The coolSamBa series includes cooled high resolution cameras with up to 8.3 million pixels, enabling the detection of even the finest sample details while still offering an exceptionally wide field of view. All coolSamBa cameras provide 16 Bit digital resolution, have a common form factor and a common software and PC interface. The cameras are shipped with a powerful Software development kit (SDK), and a flexible viewer. USB 2.0 or Ethernet interface to connect with the PC allow fast streaming of data and cost efficient connectivity without the need of an expensive interface card.
